Welcome to the new Sunrise Valley ES website.

We are honored to be among the first to move to the new website format adopted by Fairfax County Public Schools last summer.

When you begin to explore the site, if you are not able to find the information you need, you can use any of the following:

• Search Tool, similar to the way you would look for information on Google,
• Full Menu, (top, left side of screen) with mobile friendly drop-down menus, 
• Top Navigation, (visible only on non-mobile devices) with main topic links including About, Academics, Activities, Resources, and Contact,
• Blue Navigation Bar, (bottom of screen) with links to Blackboard, SIS, My School Bucks, Lunch Menus, and Employee Resources, and 
• Moving Icons, (bottom of page below blue navigation bar) with links to often-viewed information.

Some advantages of the new website include:

• Mobile friendly - Whatever device you are using, the site will automatically adjust to fit your screen. 
• Accessibility for all users (Section 508 compliant).
• Site layout similar to other FCPS schools, making for easier navigation.

If you have bookmarked our old website, be sure to update that with our new website address https://SunriseValleyES.fcps.edu.
