Every student had an opportunity to code
Sunrise Valley students and staff had another opportunity to participate in Hour of Code during Computer Science Week (December 3-9, 2018.) During this week, each student selected a coding activity from the Hour of Code website. Students used blocks to code, and some students learned to code with Java Script. It is important to give elementary students opportunities to code. These activities allow students to use their critical thinking skills. Also, many students collaborated with their classmates as they worked on the activities. We believe that these opportunities will help prepare our students for life in this digital world.
