Our school community came together this morning for our annual Veterans Day program. The 6th Grade Woodwind Ensemble opened with My Country Tis of Thee. The choir led us in the Pledge of Allegiance and the National Anthem. The 5th and 6th Grade Chorus sang I Hear America Singing. Then Mr. Washington read the Veterans Day Proclamation. A Navy veteran spoke. Finally, we all participated in a patriotic sing-a-long. Thanks to our PTA for sponsoring a delicious breakfast. Thank you, veterans!
