A class has been growing buttercrunch lettuce by a food computer for the past four weeks. This process was inspired by a project at MIT. The students and their teacher are able to control conditions such as light and temperature.

This class enjoyed a harvest today as they feasted on their healthy lettuce and made salad. The buttercrunch lettuce contains no pesticides or herbicides. It is fresh and full of minerals.

They plan to experiment with conditions and explore new crops.
