Ms. Stitzel’s Kindergarten class has been participating in a March Madness Book Tournament. Ms. Stitzel reads two books to the class each day, and the students participate in a daily vote for their favorite book of the day. Students also keep track of their individual favorites in a Google slides presentation. This tournament has afforded the class an opportunity to experience different genres and build a community of eager readers. Kindergarteners are excited to share about their favorite stories.
