We're excited to announce the launch of Sunrise Valley Television (SVTV), our very own student-led news program! SVTV is a chance for our 4th, 5th, and 6th graders to step into the spotlight, using their creativity and teamwork to deliver news, updates, and fun segments to the whole school.

Every day, the students gather to prepare scripts, adjust their roles, and get ready to film. Flexibility is key as they might switch between being the news anchor, scriptwriter, camera operator, or even sound engineer—all in one week! It’s all about learning how to adapt and work together. These students are showing leadership by owning their parts, building confidence with every take, and collaborating with their peers to make the show happen.

One of our most popular segments is "The Lunch Lineup," where a rotating group of students gives a daily preview of what’s on the lunch menu. The kids have a blast taking turns hosting this lighthearted segment.

It's been incredible to watch their creativity shine, whether through funny skits, shoutouts to classmates, or clever ways to share important school news. Each student brings something special to SVTV, and we’re so proud of the teamwork that goes into each broadcast.

To see what SVTV is all about, check out this clip below! We hope you’ll enjoy watching our young leaders in action as much as we enjoy making the show.
